A 7000 watt generator will typically run around 1.7 to 3.1 hours on a gallon of gas at 25% load.
This will again depend on the individual model you are considering. You can see the examples I found in the table below.
Again, keep in mind that the SPORTSMAN GEN7000 does not actually use gasoline. It would be more accurate to say that the numbers are for a gallon of fuel (propane) for this generator.
